Stephen Jones, PhD

Stephen Jones leads RxAnte’s Advanced Analytics team, a cross-functional team responsible for providing scalable analytics and reporting solutions, product development support, evaluating strategic growth opportunities, and setting analytic strategies for our clients. He has over 20 years of experience and numerous publications in the healthcare analytics space, with an extensive background in healthcare research, geospatial and predictive analytics, social determinants of health, program evaluations, and value-based contracting.

Prior to joining RxAnte, Dr. Jones led the predictive analytics team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where he was responsible for research and analytic efforts related to understanding and improving health quality outcomes, HEDIS/Stars accreditation analytics, risk stratification modeling, disease surveillance/public reporting, and reducing social / racial disparities. As the senior director for modeling, he led the establishment of scalable client-facing analytic software solutions for eSite, Inc., a spatial analytics company specializing in site location growth for consumer retail businesses.

Dr. Jones completed his post-doctoral research at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Population Medicine, received his PhD and MS in biology and experimental statistics from Clemson University, and bachelor’s degrees in biology and art history from Wofford College.
