Jon Phillips

Jon Phillips has over 25 years of experience in healthcare information technology, healthcare services, investment banking and private investing. Mr. Phillips has served as Managing Director and Head of Venture Capital and Private Equity for First Trust Capital Partners, headquartered in Wheaton, Illinois, since November 2016. Mr. Phillips is a founder and Managing Director of A1 Digital Health Ventures, a digital health venture capital firm, and is the founder and Managing Partner of First Health Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Phillips has led investments in a broad range of healthcare technology and services companies, including Vivify Health (acquired by UnitedHealth Group in 2019), Lightbeam Health, AVIA, RxAnte, and Wellvana Health.

Mr. Phillips earned his MBA in Finance, Marketing and Health Services Management from the J. L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and his BA in Economics and Management from DePauw University.
